The site is located on the former site of a cleaning plant and is surrounded by a peaceful landscape of plastic greenhouses in vineyards. A stockyard for temporary storage of paper and other recyclable waste, an office and a multi-purpose space to be used for promoting recycling activities were planned there. The yard incorporates a container storage space for paper and cardboard and a work space with lift lines in mind.
In order to make the volume fit in with the surrounding countryside, two curved roofs are floated to secure the necessary functions underneath. As the building is intended as a stockyard, it is expected to be used hard, so the shape is simple and stripped down to the bare essentials, and the building is constructed from improvised materials of concrete, steel, ALC and folded plates.
